A modest loss this week, but I’ll take it – bye-bye 0.5 lbs! That means I lost 9 pounds during this challenge, or 3.147% of my starting weight. Yay me!

I was pretty good about working out this week: level 1 shred on Tuesday, level 2 on Wednesday, and level 3 on Thursday, then a 11 mile bike ride on Saturday. Our bike rides have been getting shorter because the weather is just not good for riding. We get up and out of the house by 9AM (just can’t do any earlier on the weekend…I’ve tried!), so by the time we get 5-6 miles, the heat and humidity are kicking in. We’ll ramp it up again when the weather starts to cool a bit, or if the humidity dies down a little.

I’m seeing my eating go downhill, and I would really like to kick it back to where it was a few weeks ago. I’m doing well getting milk and dairy in, and I’m still doing okay with fruit. It’s the veggies I seem to have trouble with. If I can get a good salad in, I’m happy, but lately I haven’t been making salads.

So, my goal for the week is to get more veggies. When the fruit guy comes to work on Thursday, I’m going to stock up on some things, maybe things I don’t normally get. Then I’ll have no excuses.
